I belong to a people who have experienced African poverty. I have experienced both worlds and, trust me, it is hard to fall asleep at night if your stomach is empty and even harder when you are thirsty. I find it unbelievable that in the 21st century there are still more than 2/3 of people in this world without proper access to food and water.
