Abandoned Children’s Centre, Nairobi, Kenya
The first funds raised by the One Name One Child record attempt were used to save seven abandoned children from Kawangware district in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Thanks to our donors, these children found a new home, bed, food, clothes and school in the Children`s Garden center, which is being supported by One Name One Child funding. We thank you for giving these children a chance for a new future.

I think people should look after each other and that's why I have decided to help children in Africa. I have no opportunity to help them in person so this is such a convenient way of making a difference. I believe the money will go to those who truly need it. One Name One Child is a great idea and with so many good-hearted people in the world I am positive that the target number of donors will be reached.
