Abandoned Children’s Centre, Nairobi, Kenya
The first funds raised by the One Name One Child record attempt were used to save seven abandoned children from Kawangware district in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Thanks to our donors, these children found a new home, bed, food, clothes and school in the Children`s Garden center, which is being supported by One Name One Child funding. We thank you for giving these children a chance for a new future.

Why should we support people suffering so far away when there are many people suffering even closer to home? This is a question I asked myself before joining this project. I am used to passing by the people living in the streets of Bratislava. Many of them have ended up in a difficult predicament, yet were not responsible for causing it.
